Job summary

MCC is seeking a finishing machine operator in Canterbury, New Zealand. You will work a 2:15 pm – 12:15 am shift, Monday to Thursday, to process and quality-inspect printed labels as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred (labels experience beneficial).
• Basic computer skills for recording data.
• Ability to distinguish all colours.
• Physically capable of manual handling tasks.
• Does not suffer from motion sickness.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand.

About the Role

In this role, you will work 2:15 pm – 12:15 am, Monday to Thursday, utilising a finishing machine to process and quality-inspect printed labels to meet customer targets and timeframes. You will join an established, supportive team that is key to the success of our print professionals. • Recording basic machine operation data using a PC.
• Monitoring and maintaining the finishing machine with a strong focus on safety.
• Ensuring high-quality standards and maintaining quality assurance.
• Demonstrating dedication to exceptional customer service.

About You
