MCC Label, Christchurch, NZ, is seeking individuals to join our printing team across multiple technologies. We welcome apprentices and experienced printers who want to advance in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

Opportunities exist for training, skill development and local/global career growth within a manufacturing leader in labels for FMCG brands.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in printing is required.
• Experience with various print technologies is preferred.
• Experience with high embellished labels is an advantage.
• Experience in printing/manufacturing industries is beneficial.
• Excellent quality control and high attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate print technology to complete client orders to high service standards.
• Maintain machines with strong safety focus.
• Check components and report maintenance needs.
• Follow quality standards and keep QA records up to date.
• Assist in training and coordinating duties to Assistant Printers.

In This Exciting And Varied Role, You Will

• Operating print technology to complete client orders in accordance with our high level of customer service standards to achieve targets & timeframes.
• Maintain machines with a strong safety focus
• Check all components & report any maintenance requirements
• Quality standard practices & maintaining quality assurance records
• Training responsibilities & coordination of duties to Assistant Printers.

About You (criteria)

We’re seeking individuals with a keen eye for detail, a passion for delivering high-quality results, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. While specific requirements may vary by role, ideal candidates may have:

• Trade qualified (Certificate III in Print or similar)
• Experience with various print technologies
• Experience with high embellished labels will be an advantage, but not essential.
• Previous experience working in a printing/manufacturing industry would be an advantage.
• Excellent quality control & high attention to detail
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks.
• Eligible Australian or NZ working rights.
