Job summary

Multi-Color Corporation in Auckland, New Zealand, is seeking a finishing machine operator to join a dedicated team. You will work 2:15 pm – 12:15 am, Monday to Thursday, loading rolls, setting up blades, and inspecting printed labels to hit tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within labels.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to distinguish all colours.
• Physically capable of performing manual handling tasks.
• Does not suffer from motion sickness.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Set up the finishing machine (loading print rolls, feeding material, adjusting blades and slicers).
• Recording basic machine operation data using a PC.
• Monitoring and maintaining the finishing machine with a strong focus on safety.
• Ensuring high-quality standards and maintaining quality assurance.
• Demonstrating dedication to exceptional customer service.

About the Role

In this role, you will work 2:15 pm – 12:15 am, Monday to Thursday, utilising a finishing machine to process and quality‑inspect printed labels to meet customer targets and timeframes. You will join an established, supportive team that is key to the success of our print professionals.
