Job summary

Hokitika Primary School is seeking an outstanding educational leader to become the next Principal of our well-established West Coast school.

We value strong relationships, community partnership and high expectations for every learner, with commitment to te ao Māori and tikanga. The successful candidate will lead curriculum, staff, and wellbeing initiatives, and collaborate with whānau, iwi and the Board.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a school or educational team
• Strong commitment to Te Reo Māori and tikanga
• Proven ability to build partnerships with whānau and iwi
• Track record of improving learner outcomes

• Lead the school as principal and strategic planner
• Foster relationships with staff, students, families and the wider community
