  • Hold high expectations with warmth and have a proven ability to lead, develop, and support a skilled and committed team;
  • Be approachable, and a natural builder of relationships and trust;
  • Be visible and present across the school, know our tamariki, be comfortable in classrooms, and connect authentically with our tamariki, whānau, and wider community;

At Stanley Bay School, community connection is not an add-on; it is fundamental to who we are and to our continued success. Our next Principal will value that partnership, understand the importance of maintaining strong parent and whānau buy-in, and recognise that the trust of our community is something to be earned, nurtured, and protected.
The Board anticipates the successful applicant will commence the role in Term 1, 2027.
