• Experience as a Primary Care Assistant in primary care or healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and clinical procedures under delegation.
• Perform clinical tasks such as blood pressure monitoring, ECGs, observations and specimen collection where trained.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain clinical equipment.
• Support health promotion initiatives and patient education.
• Assist with administrative tasks and maintain accurate patient records.
• Provide a welcoming, respectful and culturally safe experience for patients and whānau.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes.
