Energylight is seeking a Pricing Coordinator on a 14 month fixed-term contract to join our project team. You will help with tender requests, prepare accurate quotations, and keep pricing data current, working with project and sales colleagues.
No prior lighting industry knowledge is required; we value curiosity, good judgement, initiative and the ability to collaborate. You’ll receive structured support and a friendly, team-oriented environment.
\"We enhance wellbeing in the lit environment\" is our purpose.
Since 2004, Energylight has been delivering commercial lighting projects alongside Architects, Engineers and Electrical installers across New Zealand.
We are a well-respected leader in an industry we are passionate about, with our products installed across a wide range of market sectors including commercial, healthcare, public buildings and outdoor projects.
Our culture is a big part of what makes us successful. We enjoy what we do, we do what's right, and we give people the responsibility and trust to get on with their jobs.
We're also a local manufacturer of bespoke lighting systems. With around sixty staff, we're big enough to do some pretty interesting things while still enjoying the culture and personality of a locally owned business.
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our project team as a Pricing Coordinator on a 14 month fixed term contract.
You don't need to know anything about lighting. What we're really interested in is how you think.
This is an opportunity to learn how commercial projects come together, gain hands-on experience with tendering, quoting and pricing, and work alongside people across our project, sales and wider business teams.
You'll have structured support and training, but we're not looking for someone who needs everything mapped out for them. We want someone curious, organised and confident enough to have a go, ask questions and make a call when they have enough information to do so.
If you like figuring things out, spotting ways to make things better and being part of a team rather than just doing your bit and going home, you'll probably fit in well here:
You don't need lighting or industry experience. We'll teach you that part.
What we can't teach as easily is curiosity, good judgement, initiative and the ability to work well with people - so that's what we're looking for.
We offer a great team environment, structured support and exposure to all areas of the business.
