Job summary

Otumoetai Doctors is seeking a proactive and organised Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our General Practice, supporting our clinical and administrative teams to deliver exceptional patient care.

The Practice Manager will oversee staff leadership, operational and financial management, compliance, workforce planning and continuous improvement initiatives, coordinating non-clinical functions while fostering a positive, collaborative workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Experience leading administrative/operational teams in healthcare.
• Knowledge of PHO funding and primary care funding initiatives.
• Experience with HR, recruitment, and workforce planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the General Practice.
• Support clinical and administrative teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Manage staff leadership and team development.
• Oversee operational and financial management.
• Ensure privacy, health and safety, and quality frameworks.
