Job summary

Vitaco Group is seeking a Machine Operator for the Powder Plant in East Tamaki, Auckland. This full-time, afternoon shift role involves operating and monitoring powder processing and packaging equipment to ensure safety, quality and efficiency.

You will work in a hygiene‑focused environment with a collaborative team, following GMP, SOPs and strict safety standards while contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in powder, dairy, food or pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred but not essential.
• Strong awareness of GMP, hygiene and safety requirements.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow set processes.
• Physically fit and able to lift 25kg regularly.
• Reliability and flexibility to work rostered shifts.
• Team‑focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor powder processing or packing machinery.
• Complete quality checks and record production data.
• Handle raw materials and finished powders per GMP/hygiene standards.
• Follow SOPs and safety requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping to prevent contamination.
• Work with the team to meet daily production targets.
