Job summary

Vitaco is seeking a Machine Operator for the Powder Plant at East Tamaki on a Day shift (6:00am–2:30pm). You will operate and monitor powder processing and packaging equipment, recording production data and ensuring strict quality standards in a hygiene-focused environment.

Experience in dairy or food manufacturing is preferred, but training is provided. The role offers ongoing full-time employment with opportunities for progression within Vitaco’s NZ operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in powder, dairy, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.
• Strong GMP, hygiene and safety knowledge.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.
• Able to lift 25kg and work rostered shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor powder processing equipment.
• Record production data and perform quality checks.
• Handle raw materials and finished powders per GMP.
• Follow SOPs and safety requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping to prevent contamination.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily targets.
