Job summary

Vitaco is seeking a Machine Operator for the Dairy Powder Plant (Afternoon Shift) at our East Tamaki site. You will operate and monitor processing and packaging equipment to ensure safe, efficient production and strict quality adherence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a powder, dairy, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Strong awareness of GMP, hygiene, and safety requirements.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow set processes.
• Physically fit and able to lift 25 kg on a reasonably frequent basis.
• Reliability and flexibility to work rostered shifts.
• Positive, team‑focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor powder processing or packing machinery.
• Complete quality checks and accurately record production data.
• Handle raw materials and finished powders in line with GMP and hygiene standards.
• Always follow SOPs and safety requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping standards to prevent contamination risks.
• Work collaboratively with your team to meet daily production targets.
