Job summary

Victoria University of Wellington is seeking a Poutuia - Learning Designer to join the Centre for Academic Development (CAD) on a permanent, full-time basis. The role requires in-person attendance at the Kelburn Campus in Wellington.

The successful candidate will lead learning design, contribute to the design, creation and review of courses and learning experiences, and provide expertise in learning objects and materials while upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles.

Qualifications

• Experience in modern/digital online modes of delivery and instructional design methodologies.
• Strong interest in educational design and delivery.
• Knowledge and commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

TeHerenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Poutuia - Learning Designer to join Te Kōtuinga Mātauranga - Centre for Academic Development (CAD) team on a permanent, full-time contract. The role is flexible but does require in-person attendance at the Kelburn Campus of the University.

Key responsibilities:

• Learning design.
• Participate in the design, creation and review of courses/learning experiences.
• Provide expertise in the creation and use of learning objects and materials.

You will be a motivated, customer-focused individual who can take the initiative, provide excellent learning design support.
