Job summary

DX Mail in New Plymouth is seeking a permanent part-time Postie/Driver. You will deliver mail across the Taranaki area and be the face of the company, providing excellent customer service and building rapport with customers.

Responsibilities include sorting mail each morning, operating motorcycles, and assisting as a driver in freight/mail collection and delivery. Flexible start times may apply while maintaining health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have clean class 6 motorcycle license (Learner, Restricted or Full).
• Must have clean class 1 NZ driver’s license (Full).
• Enjoy outdoor work in all weather.
• Be flexible and reliable.
• Physically fit with can-do attitude and goal to complete tasks.
• Passionate about keeping customers happy.
• High regard for Health & Safety standards.

We have a new and exciting opportunity to join our DX team as a Permanent Part-time Postie/Driver – New Plymouth.

Here’s what you’ll do…

You will be the face of the company as you deliver mail from our depot across the Taranaki area. Being customer-focused, you will provide an excellent level of customer service, building rapport and relationships as you go.

You’ll start your day sorting mail in our branch for delivery. You will be operating Motorcycles, early starts and early finishes are the norm; but we can also talk to you about more flexible arrangements. For the Driver part of the shift, you will support as a Driver in the collection & delivery of freight & mail from various locations within the Taranaki area. You will also liaise with the team and support them where required.

What we’re looking for…

• You must have a clean class 6 motorcycle license - Learner, Restricted, or Full
