Job summary

DX Mail is seeking a part-time Van Driver in Wellington to be the face of the DX Mail service. You will collect and deliver mail and freight across the Wellington area, loading your vehicle at the start of the day and delivering with a strong focus on customer care.

You will work with the operations team to ensure timely pickups and deliveries, with flexibility to support additional runs as required. A NZ residency or valid work visa is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a clean, full NZ Class 1 driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily collection and delivery of mail and freight in Wellington.
• Load and prepare vehicles at start of shift.
• Support other runs as needed and coordinate with operations team.

We have a new and exciting opportunity to join our DX team as a Part-time Van Driver - Wellington

Here’s what you’ll do...

You will be the face of DX Mail as you collect and deliver mail and freight throughout the Wellington area. Being customer-focused, you will provide an excellent level of customer service, building rapport and relationships with customers along your route.

You’ll start your day preparing and loading your vehicle before heading out on your delivery run. Working alongside our operations team, you’ll be responsible for the timely collection and delivery of mail and freight, while also supporting other runs as needed.

What we’re looking for...

• Have a clean, full Class 1 NZ driver's licence
• Are physically fit and confident lifting up to 25kg
• Are flexible and reliable, with a can-do attitude
• Have strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Enjoy being on the road and delivering great service
• Are available Monday to Friday with flexibility in start/finish times
