Job summary

DX Mail in Auckland is seeking a delivery driver to be the face of the service, collecting and delivering mail and freight across the Auckland area. You will prepare and load your vehicle, then execute timely runs while providing excellent customer service.

You’ll work with the operations team to ensure on-time collections and deliveries, supporting extra runs as required. A clean Class 1 NZ licence, physical fitness, and weekday availability are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Clean, full Class 1 NZ driver’s licence.
• physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg.
• Reliable and flexible with a can-do attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication.
• Commitment to delivering great customer service on routes.
• Availability Monday to Friday with flexible start/finish times.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mail and freight across the Auckland area.
• Prepare and load your vehicle at start of shift.
• Work with the operations team to ensure on-time collections and deliveries.
• Complete runs efficiently and safely, following procedures.
• Support other runs as needed to meet daily targets.

Here’s what you’ll do...

You will be the face of DX Mail as you collect and deliver mail and freight throughout the Aucklandarea. Being customer-focused, you will provide an excellent level of customer service, building rapport and relationships with customers along your route.

You’ll start your day preparing and loading your vehicle before heading out on your delivery run. Working alongside our operations team, you’ll be responsible for the timely collection and delivery of mail and freight, while also supporting other runs as needed.

What we’re looking for...

• Have a clean, full Class 1 NZ driver’s licence
• Are physically fit and confident lifting up to 25kg
• Are flexible and reliable, with a can-do attitude
• Have strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Enjoy being on the road and delivering great service
• Are available Monday to Friday with flexibility in start/finish times
