Job summary

Ferry Holdings Limited in Wellington seeks a senior Engineering Integration Manager to drive whole-system integration across vessels, wharves, linkspans, marine structures, terminals, rail systems and operations.

You’ll provide programme-wide oversight across engineering disciplines and delivery partners, ensure interfaces are closed, risks visible and assets deliver a safe, integrated transport system, guiding handover to operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) essential.
• CPEng or eligibility desirable.
• 10+ years’ experience delivering large, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Experience with transport, maritime or heavy infrastructure.
• Proven ability to lead across multiple organisations.
• Strong understanding of interfaces, assurance processes and handover.

Responsibilities

• Lead programme-wide engineering integration requirements, processes and information standards.
• Maintain visibility of engineering risks, dependencies and Entry into Service constraints.
• Provide whole-of-system oversight across marine, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and operational interfaces.
• Define and govern interface ownership, evidence requirements, escalation routes and closure criteria.
• Coordinate information dependencies, technical decisions and interface closure across delivery partners and the Integrated Master Programme.
• Provide engineering integration leadership through design development and cross-party coordination.
• Lead programme-level engineering change and configuration management from design through handover.
• Support engineering governance, V&V frameworks, testing and handover.
• Facilitate coordinated completion and acceptance activities across delivery partners, including testing and certification.
• Prepare monthly engineering integration dashboards with maturity, closures and risks.
• Support the readying of O&M manuals and asset information for handover to operations.
• Maintain a whole-of-system focus to protect Entry into Service, cost and outcomes.
