Job summary
Horizon Energy Group (HEG) in Queenstown seeks a hands-on Site Foreman to lead commercial plumbing sites, supervising tradespeople, subcontractors, materials and programmes to deliver projects safely and to NZ standards. Ideal candidates have proven NZ plumbing site management experience, solid knowledge of commercial installations, and current NZ plumbing registration or licence.
A full NZ manual driver licence is required.
Qualifications
- Proven site management or supervisory experience in NZ plumbing projects.
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing installations and site operations.
- Experience coordinating plumbers, subcontractors, suppliers, materials, and project schedules.
- Current NZ plumbing registration or licence and a relevant plumbing trade qualification.
- Full manual NZ driver licence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day management of commercial plumbing sites.
- Coordinate tradespeople, subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to NZ industry standards.
- Maintain programmes and delivery schedules.

As Site Foreman, you will oversee the day-to-day management of commercial plumbing sites, coordinating tradespeople, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and work programmes to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to New Zealand industry standards.
You are a practical, safety-focused site leader who communicates clearly, makes sound decisions and keeps people and delivery on track.
- Proven site management or supervisory experience within the New Zealand plumbing industry
- Strong practical knowledge of commercial plumbing installations, systems, and site operations
- Experience coordinating plumbers, subcontractors, suppliers, materials, and project schedules
- Sound understanding of relevant New Zealand plumbing standards, building requirements, and health and safety obligations
- A relevant plumbing trade qualification and current New Zealand plumbing registration or licence, if required for the role
- A current full manual New Zealand driver licence
