Job summary

Salt Digital Recruitment is seeking an Application Support & Site Reliability Engineer to join a Hamilton-based team in a dynamic energy-tech environment. You will balance application support for web and desktop platforms with reliable, scalable operations, progressing toward a 50/50 split in the long run.

Qualifications

Experience in APPLICATION SUPPORT (web & desktop).
Experience as SITE RELIABILITY ENGINEER or similar.
Familiarity with AWS and basic SQL.
Some scripting experience (Python/PowerShell).
Good stakeholder and end-user management skills.

Responsibilities

Support incident response, troubleshooting, recovery and post-incident reviews.
Contribute to capacity planning, performance optimisation, disaster recovery and business continuity.
Collaborate with engineering teams to build reliability into solutions.
Identify opportunities to automate repetitive operational activities.
Participate in on-call or operational support arrangements.
