Job summary

Bank of New Zealand in Auckland or Wellington is seeking a Platform Owner to lead the Customer360 Integrations team, shaping the integrations roadmap and driving secure, scalable delivery.

You'll own the Customer360 Integrations roadmap, lead a team of Business Analysts, collaborate with Platform Owners, Architects and Engineers, and balance business value with risk and sustainability in a large-scale transformation.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Platform Owner to lead our Customer360 Integration team and shape the Integrations capability behind some of BNZ’s most strategic technology investments.

At BNZ,we’re transforming how we serve our customers through modern, connected technology that makes banking simpler, faster, and more reliable. As part of the Customer360 programme, our Integrations connect Salesforce/nCino now with core systems, data platforms, banker and customer channels across the bank.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in either Wellington or Auckland, with a hybrid working approach of three days in the office and two days working flexibly.

MōteTūranga| About the Role

You will be responsible for maximizing the value delivered by our Integrations while ensuring they remain secure, resilient, scalable, well-governed and sustainable to operate over the long term.

You’ll provide both service ownership and people leadership, guiding a team of Business Analysts and working closely alongside our Integration Engineering Lead. You’ll own the Customer360 Integrations roadmap, working with business stakeholders, Platform Owners, Architects and Engineers to prioritize delivery, continuous improvement and service performance.

This is a permanent, full‑time opportunity based in Wellington or Auckland. This is a hybrid position with three days in the office and two days where you can work flexibly.

  • Backlog Prioritisation & Value Delivery -Own and prioritise thebacklog, balancing business demand, technical debt, operational risk, regulatory expectations and strategic initiatives to maximise value.
  • Service Ownership & Operational Excellence -Monitor reliability, security and availability through data-driven metrics, continuous improvement and service maturity initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration -Partner with business stakeholders, technology leaders, vendors and delivery teams to align priorities, manage expectations and communicate direction, risks and outcomes.
  • People Leadership & Team Development -Lead and develop Business Analysts, fostering accountability, collaboration, continuous learning and high performance.
