K1 Industries is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of eight engineers building and running high-throughput platform services used across customers. You will guide improvements, drive stability, and shape the architecture to support the next twenty years.

The role spans Auckland/Wellington with hybrid work options, across multiple time zones. You will focus on keeping systems steady, planning migration away from legacy databases, and turning long-term architecture visions into

Formación

• Software engineering background with enough technical depth to discuss how systems are built.
• Experience guiding a team through scale in a large tech/SaaS company.
• Go Bold by asking questions and shaping path while valuing long-standing engineers.
• Comfort with high-traffic, business-critical services; infrastructure tooling knowledge is a bonus.
• Ability to translate a long-term architecture vision into an actionable plan for the team.
• Collaborative leaders who grow people and work well across locations and time zones.
