Job summary

Visy seeks an experienced Plant Manager to lead its Albany plastics site in New Zealand. You will report to the Head of Operations, Plastics, and be responsible for safe, efficient, and profitable operations with a strong leadership team across HSEQ, Production, Planning and Engineering.

You will drive operating excellence, embed continuous improvement, manage budgets, and partner with commercial and NPD to meet customer needs while guiding growth initiatives at the site.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience managing plant performance, budgets and P&L.
• Experience driving continuous improvement (Lean, CI, Six Sigma or similar).
• Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all site operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery and cost targets
• Drive a proactive safety culture and ensure OH&S and environmental standards
• Deliver CI initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste
• Own plant financial performance including budgets, forecasting and cost control
• Partner with commercial and NPD teams to support customer outcomes and growth
• Improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency
• Lead, coach and develop leaders to build capability and succession
• Drive structured problem solving and performance routines across operations
