Job summary

Linde plc is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to run our Bottle Swap Filling and Testing Plant in the Auckland region. You will lead a large operational team, coordinate daily production, and partner with engineering and maintenance to keep equipment performing at its best.

You will drive safety culture, manage hazards in a Major Hazard Facility environment, implement Lean and continuous improvement, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering customer-focused results.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Strong health, safety and risk management knowledge in high-risk environments.
• Experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement.
• Excellent planning, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Practical, people-focused leadership across all levels.
• Experience in Major Hazard Facility, LPG, industrial gases, or hazardous substances is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe and efficient operation of the Bottle Swap Plant.
• Plan production to meet customer demand and targets.
• Coordinate maintenance with engineering teams to maximise uptime.
• Identify and drive safety and productivity improvement projects.
• Manage inventory and stock control to meet regulatory requirements.
• Mentor and develop a large operational team to achieve performance goals.
• Foster a positive culture of accountability and empowerment.
