Alliance Group Limited in Invercargill is seeking a Financial Controller to lead the site finance function at the Lorneville Processing Plant, providing strategic financial leadership and partnering with operations to drive profitability.

This senior role reports to the Plant Manager and collaborates with Group Finance to shape the site's future by strengthening controls, guiding capital decisions and delivering robust performance analysis for informed decision-making.

Qualifikationen

• A recognised accounting qualification or diploma (CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in financial control, management accounting or finance leadership roles.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and management reporting capability.
• Experience supporting operational or manufacturing-based businesses.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Experience leading teams and developing capability in others.
• A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset.

Aufgaben

• Leading site budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Providing insightful financial analysis and performance reporting.
• Managing site profit and loss, balance sheet and working capital performance.
• Maintaining strong financial controls, compliance and audit readiness.
• Supporting capital investment decisions and business improvement initiatives.
• Partnering with operational leaders to identify opportunities and manage risks.
• Driving continuous improvement across finance systems, processes and reporting.
