Alliance Group Limited is seeking a Senior Financial Controller for our Pukeuri Processing Plant in Otago, New Zealand. This senior leadership role provides strategic financial leadership, partnering with site operations to drive profitability and informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Accounting qualification or diploma (CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in financial control, management accounting or finance leadership roles
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and management reporting capability
• Experience supporting operational or manufacturing-based businesses
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Experience leading teams and developing capability in others
• Proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller to join the team at our Pukeuri Processing Plant.

This is a senior leadership role that sits at the heart of the plant operation, providing strategic financial leadership and partnering closely with operational leaders to drive performance, profitability and informed decision-making. Reporting to the Plant Manager and working closely with Group Finance, you'll lead the site's finance function and play a key role in shaping the site's future success.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Leading site budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes

About You

You are a commercially minded finance leader who enjoys working closely with operational teams and influencing business outcomes. You can translate complex financial information into practical insights and are confident challenging assumptions to achieve the best results.
