SGS is seeking a Casual Plant and Terminal Operator to assist with bunker operations for vessels at the Port and to discharge fuel tankers into Oil Industry Terminal tanks. The role includes manual handling up to 25kg and outdoor work in all weather, with flexibility to cover days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
The position is casual with no guaranteed hours, and training with paid progression will be provided. Candidates must have NZ work rights and a current NZ driver’s license.

As a Casual Plant and Terminal Operator, you will be assisting with bunker operations for vessels when they are at the Port and discharging of fuel tankers into Oil Industry Terminal tanks. This role involves manual handling of up to 25kgs and working outside in all weather conditions. Vessels can arrive at any time of the day or night, weekdays or weekend, so flexibility is key for this role. Other duties may be offered should you have the right skills and positive approach to work.
