Job summary

ASB Bank is seeking a seasoned Planning & Performance Lead to shape confident, value-led delivery across the bank. You will orchestrate demand, sequencing and dependencies across portfolios, platforms and delivery teams, creating a clear enterprise delivery roadmap.

The role requires senior leadership capabilities, strategic thinking and the ability to align planning with execution while driving performance transparency and credible decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise planning roadmap and dependency orchestration.
• Embed planning practices aligned to the Delivery Framework.
• Identify cross-portfolio dependencies, risks and constraints.
• Provide performance transparency on progress, risks and capacity.
• Collaborate with Tribes, Platforms, Delivery Leaders to ensure executable plans.
• Front enterprise forums with senior leaders for alignment and decisions.
• Support alignment between funding, demand and capacity.
• Develop and coach enterprise planning capability.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading enterprise planning roadmap and dependency orchestration, ensuring priorities are sequenced effectively and aligned to strategic outcomes.
• Defining and embedding planning and performance practices aligned to the ASB Delivery Framework, with clearline‑of‑sightfrom strategy to execution.
• Proactivelyidentifyingandworking with stakeholders toresolvecross‑portfoliodependencies, constraints and risks, reducing deliveryfrictionand increasing confidence.
• Providing performance transparency, with clear views of progress, risks,capacityand outcomes to supporttimely,high‑qualitydecision‑making.
• Partnering closely with Tribes, Platforms, DeliveryChapterand leaders to ensure plans are grounded,executableandcapacity‑aware.

• Ability to analyse complex information and to develop clear recommendations that can be presented to executives and board to support decision‑making and alignment.
• Experience managing financials,capacityand delivery risk in large, complex organisations.
