Tradestaff is seeking a reliable Pilot Driver to support roadside maintenance crews around Queenstown. The role involves driving a Class 1 pilot vehicle with flashing lights, guiding traffic around works, and staying aware of hazards to keep workers and the public safe.

No previous pilot driving experience? Training can be provided for the right person. You’ll enjoy outdoor work, early starts, and the chance to see the Queenstown area while earning a full-time wage.

Qualificações

• Full Class 1 driver's licence.
• Confident and safe behind the wheel.
• Good awareness of what's happening around you.
• Reliable and comfortable working independently.
• Happy working outdoors in changing conditions.
• Good communication and a strong focus on safety.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

Pilot Driver – Queenstown

Like driving, being outdoors and getting out and about around Queenstown?

We’re looking for a reliable Pilot Driver to support roadside maintenance crews working across the Queenstown area.

You’ll be out on the road helping keep both the crew and public safe while machinery such as tractors, diggers and mowing equipment operates alongside local roads.

No previous pilot driving experience? No worries — training can be provided for the right person.

What you'll be doing:

• Driving a Class 1 pilot/work vehicle with flashing lights
• Travelling alongside or behind roadside machinery
• Helping guide traffic safely around moving works
• Spotting for machinery and keeping an eye on hazards
• Helping keep workers, road users and the public clear of active work areas
• Communicating with the crew throughout the day

What we're looking for:
