Job summary

Tradestaff in Cromwell is seeking a reliable Class 2 Driver / Labourer to join a busy crew. You’ll work behind the wheel and on the tools, with daily vehicle checks and safety at the forefront.

The role offers ongoing work, weekly pay, PPE provided, and a supportive team environment with long-term opportunities. If you have a full NZ Class 2 licence and can pass a pre-employment drug test, apply now.

Qualifications

• A full, clean NZ Class 2 licence.
• Confidence driving Class 2 vehicles.
• Good fitness and willingness to do hands-on work.
• Reliability and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Two work references.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Driving Class 2 vehicles to move materials and equipment around Cromwell and surrounding areas.
• Making deliveries safely and on time.
• Loading and unloading gear.
• Daily vehicle checks and reporting faults.
• General labouring and site support when you're not driving.
• Following all health and safety procedures.

We're looking for a reliable Class 2 Driver / Labourer to join a busy crew in Cromwell. No two days are the same: one minute you're behind the wheel, the next you're on the tools with the team.

Cromwell, Central Otago

Pay

$30 – $34 per hour, depending on experience
