Job summary

APM New Zealand in New Plymouth is seeking a passionate Physiotherapist to join our concussion services, delivering patient-centered rehabilitation in homes, workplaces and communities. You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team to apply your clinical expertise and help clients recover and return to daily activities.

You’ll bring at least two years’ concussion experience, strong clinical reasoning, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in concussion services.
• High-level clinical reasoning across diverse client needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and whanau.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide concussion assessment and rehabilitation in homes, workplaces and communities.
• Collaborate with GPs and multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

About The Role

Reporting to your Team Leader, you’ll be part of a vibrant team culture that supports and empowers each other every day.

Concussion Service

• Skilled in assessing and treating concussion and mild to moderate traumatic brain injury
• Experience in assessing and treating cervical spine, vestibular, oculomotor systems
• Collaborative approach with GPs, specialists and the wider multi-disciplinary team
