Advanced Personnel Management in Palmerston North is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our vibrant team. You will work across pain management and concussion services, delivering client-centered rehabilitation in homes, workplaces and communities.

You bring high-level clinical reasoning, strong communication with clients, whanau and stakeholders, and a commitment to continuous learning. Experience in inter-disciplinary teams and self-management education is valued.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience working within pain and concussion services.
• Proven ability to deliver client-centered rehabilitation in the community.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication with clients, whanau and stakeholders.

About the role

Reporting to your Team Leader, you’ll be part of a vibrant team culture that supports and empowers each other every day.

Pain Management Service (PMS)

• Experience working in inter-disciplinary teams to support people living with persistent pain
• Skilled in behaviour change, pacing strategies, and education in self-management
• Understanding of biopsychosocial approaches

Concussion Service

• Skilled in assessing and treating concussion and mild to moderate traumatic brain injury
• Experience in assessing and treating cervical spine, vestibular, oculomotor systems
• Collaborative approach with GPs, specialists and the wider multi-disciplinary team
