Job summary

APM New Zealand in New Plymouth is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to apply your clinical expertise in concussion and community rehabilitation. You’ll deliver care in homes, workplaces, and communities, embracing a diverse client base and a values-led team.

Reporting to the Team Leader, you’ll work with GPs and multidisciplinary colleagues to achieve client-centred outcomes, with a focus on continuous learning, strong communication, and professional development.

About The Role

Reporting to your Team Leader, you’ll be part of a vibrant team culture that supports and empowers each other every day.

Concussion Service

• Skilled in assessing and treating concussion and mild to moderate traumatic brain injury
• Experience in assessing and treating cervical spine, vestibular, oculomotor systems
• Collaborative approach with GPs, specialists and the wider multi-disciplinary team

Community Rehabilitation Services

• Provide rehabilitation and support to individuals within their community
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team to help clients achieve their rehab goals
• Knowledge of community services pathways

What You’ll Bring
