Job summary

Advanced Personnel Management in Auckland is seeking a Physiotherapist to join our East Tamaki team, delivering client-centred rehabilitation across homes, workplaces and community settings. You’ll use clinical reasoning to support diverse client needs and collaborate within a vibrant multidisciplinary team.

We value experience in vocational rehabilitation and TI/SAW programs, with a commitment to continuous learning and excellent communication with clients, whanau, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in vocational rehabilitation and community rehabilitation services (minimum 2 years).
• Experience in musculoskeletal, neurological or vestibular rehabilitation is beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to assess movement, progression of strength and mobility.

We're on the hunt for a passionate, dedicated, Physiotherapist to join our team at our East Tamaki APM office. Reporting to your Team Leader, you’ll be part of a vibrant team culture that supports and empowers each other every day.

Required Skills/Experience: It would be highly preferable if you have skills/experience in the services below:

Physiotherapy Services

• Experience in either musculoskeletal, neurological or vestibular rehabilitation

• Experience in delivering gym-based, home-based, and functional rehabilitation programmes

• Skilled in assessing movement patterns and progressing strength and mobility

Training For Independence (TI)

• Able to deliver individual community rehabilitation programmes focussed on independence and function
• Skilled in delivering home and community-based functional rehabilitation
• Ability to co-ordinate and collaborate with the wider multi-disciplinary team

Vocational Rehabilitation (SAW & BTW)

• Confident delivering workplace assessments, graduated return-to-work plans and task analysis
• Knowledge of vocational services pathways
• Key working

Concussion Service

• Skilled in assessing and treating concussion and mild to moderate traumatic brain injury
• Experience in assessing and treating cervical spine, vestibular, oculomotor systems
• Collaborative approach with GPs, specialists and the wider multi-disciplinary team
