APM in Palmerston North is seeking a Physiotherapist to apply clinical expertise across vocational and community rehabilitation settings, delivering client-centred care and using strong clinical reasoning to support meaningful outcomes.

Reporting to a Team Leader, you will assess clients in homes, workplaces and community settings, develop graduated return‑to‑work plans and work with a multidisciplinary team to help people achieve functional and wellbeing goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in vocational and community rehabilitation.
• Professional registration and current practising certificate required.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• Client-focused approach with adaptability.

We’re seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist to join our team in Palmerston North.

About the role

Reporting to your Team Leader, you’ll be part of a supportive and collaborative team environment. This role delivers services across both vocational rehabilitation and community rehabilitation.

Vocational Rehabilitation (SAW & BTW)

• Deliver workplace and functional assessments
• Develop graduated return‑to‑work plans and task analyses
• Support clients through vocational rehabilitation pathways

Community Rehabilitation

• Provide rehabilitation services within the community
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team
• Support clients to achieve functional and wellbeing goals
