Job summary

APM in Northland is seeking a passionate Physiotherapist to join our team in Whangārei. You will provide community-based rehabilitation, work within a multi-disciplinary team, and support diverse clients across Northland. A strong clinical foundation and commitment to client-centred care are essential.

You’ll deliver gym-based, home-based, and functional rehabilitation programs in homes and communities, collaborating with teams to achieve rehab goals and optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications and valid practising certificate are required.
• Professional registration with a current practising certificate.
• At least 2 years’ experience in vocational and community rehabilitation services.

Community Rehabilitation Services - Essential

• Provide rehabilitation and support to individuals within their community
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team to help clients achieve their rehab goals
• Knowledge of community services pathways

Physiotherapy Services - Essential

• Experience in one of the services ofmusculoskeletal, neurological or vestibular rehabilitation
• Experience in delivering gym-based, home-based, and functional rehabilitation programmes
• Skilled in assessing movement patterns and progressing strength and mobility
