Job summary

Woolworths Pharmacy in Invercargill seeks a Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team and deliver patient-centred health services.

You will oversee the Pharmacist and Dispensing Technician, ensure accurate dispensing, and maintain stock and customer service standards while mentoring staff and driving community health initiatives.

Qualifications

• Registered pharmacist with NZ APC and current working rights.
• Bachelor of Pharmacy degree is required.
• Minimum 3 years in retail pharmacy and mentoring experience.
• Ability to oversee dispensing and staff scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional health services to support community wellbeing.
• Organise staffing to ensure appropriate coverage in-store.
• Oversee Pharmacist and Dispensing Technician in store.

What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a Pharmacy Manager to join our team. You’ll be joining our Woolworths Pharmacy leadership team as we continue to create a customer centric offering to support our communities.

Joining Our Team And You’ll Take Accountability For

• Delivering professional health services that support the wellbeing of our wider community
• Organisation of staff and Pharmacist to ensure the pharmacy is suitably staffed
• Be accountable for the Pharmacist and Dispensing Technician in store
• Dispensing medicines accurately
• Assisting customers with pharmacy product queries
• Reviewing stock levels delivering high standards of merchandising
• Provide outstanding customer service

We're looking for a registered Pharmacist with a Bachelor of Pharmacy, a current APC, and full New Zealand working rights to join our team. To really shine in this role, you'll need to be a confident leader with a passion for inspiring and motivating others. Extensive retail experience would be a big plus!

Because we're also a training pharmacy with two intern pharmacists, you'll need at least 3 years of experience under your belt and be comfortable taking on a preceptor role.
