Job summary

Woolworths Pharmacy in Canterbury is seeking an Intern Pharmacist to join our growing network of pharmacies. You will support the charge Pharmacist with dispensing, provide healthcare advice to customers, and help maintain merchandising and stock control across the store.

As an intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a community-focused environment, while working toward your APC and building a long-term pharmacy career with Woolworths Group.

Qualifications

• Recent Pharmacy graduate with a conditional APC for internship.
• Committed to providing excellent customer service and counseling.
• Passionate about starting or expanding a career in Pharmacy.
• Willingness to work across locations after registration.

Responsibilities

• Assist the charge Pharmacist with labelling and dispensing of medicines to final accuracy and clinical check stage.
• Serve customers and provide healthcare advice and product recommendations.
• Restock pharmacy shelves and fixtures to high presentation standards.
• Review dispensary retail orders and stock control.

No two days will be the same but as an Intern Pharmacist you could expect to be:

• Assisting the charge Pharmacist with the labelling and dispensing of medicines to the final accuracy and clinical check stage
• Serving customers and providing healthcare advice and product recommendations in line with great customer service principles
• Restocking pharmacy shelves and fixtures to a high standard of presentation
• Reviewing dispensary retail orders and stock control

What You'll Bring

As a member of our Pharmacy team we are looking for our new team member to be:

• A recent Pharmacy graduate with a conditional Annual Practising Certificate for your internship
• Committed to providing only the best customer service and are passionate about counselling customers and finding the right pharmaceutical solutions for them
• Passionate about starting in or expanding your career in Pharmacy
• Flexible with working location post registration
