Job summary

Woolworths Pharmacy Christchurch is seeking an Intern Pharmacist to join our growing network. You’ll help label and dispense medicines, provide healthcare advice, and support stock control while engaging with a predominantly Mandarin-speaking community.

Fluency in English and Mandarin is highly regarded. You’ll work in a dynamic, customer‑centred environment with opportunities for professional development and APC reimbursement after registration.

Qualifications

• Recent Pharmacy graduate with a conditional Annual Practising Certificate (APC) for internship.
• Committed to providing excellent customer service and counselling.
• Passionate about starting or expanding a career in Pharmacy.
• Flexible with working location post-registration.

Responsibilities

• Assist the charge Pharmacist with the labelling and dispensing of medicines to ensure accuracy and clinical checks.
• Provide healthcare advice and product recommendations with strong customer service principles.
• Restock pharmacy shelves and fixtures to maintain high presentation standards.
• Review dispensary retail orders and stock control.

Enjoy getting to know the community you work in and leave a lasting impression with customers before they leave the store. Professional fluency in both English and Mandarin is highly regarded, enabling you to effectively support and connect with our predominantly Mandarin-speaking customer base.

No two days will be the same but as an Intern Pharmacist you could expect to be:

• Assisting the charge Pharmacist with the labelling and dispensing of medicines to the final accuracy and clinical check stage
• Serving customers and providing healthcare advice and product recommendations in line with great customer service principles
• Restocking pharmacy shelves and fixtures to a high standard of presentation
• Reviewing dispensary retail orders and stock control

As a member of our Pharmacy team we are looking for our new team member to be:

• A recent Pharmacy graduate with a conditional Annual Practising Certificate for your internship
