Hill's Pet Nutrition - A Colgate-Palmolive Company in Auckland, NZ, seeks a Customer Development Manager to lead independent pet specialty, shelters, and emerging segments. You will own a long-tail portfolio, build partnerships with community networks, and drive brand growth across New Zealand.

You will partner with Marketing, Finance, and Logistics to deliver strategic plans, execute a promotional calendar, and analyze ROI with the ATLAS system.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in FMCG, Pharma, or Vet/Pet industries with KAM focus.
• Strong relationship building with community partners.
• Ability to plan and set priorities for a diverse long-tail portfolio.
• Analytics mindset with solid Excel skills and ability to turn data into business insights.
• Strategic vision to balance big-picture thinking with promotional calendar details.
• Collaborative influencer capable of cross-functional work with Marketing, Finance, and Logistics.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Growth & Account Management: champion independent pet specialty retailers and shelters; develop annual plans to hit sales volume and premium shelf visibility.
• Emerging Partnerships & White Space Acquisition: identify new growth avenues in non-traditional networks and build partnerships.
• Commercial Planning & Analytics: create detailed commercial plans with ROI analysis and forecast via ATLAS system.
• Leadership & Operations: report to Country Manager and improve commercial processes while managing claims and invoices.
