Job summary

Petstock Ashburton is seeking a motivated team member to deliver outstanding customer service in a busy pet retail environment. You will engage with customers, share knowledge on pet care, and help customers find the best products for their pets.

Qualifications

• Passion for animals and providing the best customer service.
• Experience in a similar retail environment is preferred.
• Demonstrated drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with customers and the team.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift products up to 20kg.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service where you and your customer will have memorable, meaningful interactions.
• Through your knowledge, educate customers on the best care and products for their pets.
• Complete memorable sales transactions and strive to reach store sales goals.
• Maintain a high standard of store presentation and ensure new stock is displayed and replenished.
• Keep up-to-date on pet care, products, and services to share with customers.
• Contribute to a fun, supportive in-store culture and teamwork.
• Demonstrate a strong safety mindset and promote a culture of safety.
