Job summary

The Wilcox Horticulture team in Ohakune is seeking a dedicated Machinery Operator to support ground preparation, cultivation, planting and harvesting across carrot and potato crops.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of relevant machinery or farming experience, a Full Class 1 licence (Class 2–4 preferred) and a strong focus on safety, teamwork and precision in operation. This is a permanent, full-time role with a supportive, progressive horticulture business.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ relevant machinery, cropping or farming experience.
• Full Class 1 licence (Class 2–4 preferred – we can support the right person to obtain these)
• Good communication, teamwork and attention to detail
