Job summary

Higgins is seeking permanent, full-time Class 4 & Class 5 Drivers for our Green Team in Tauranga. You’ll drive heavy vehicles across roading and construction projects, load and transport mobile plant, and operate tip trucks and trailers.

We prize safety, reliability and teamwork. The role guarantees 40 hours per week with ongoing training and opportunities to gain additional licences. WTR endorsement and Roadranger experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Full clean Class 4 or Class 5 driver’s licence (WTR endorsement preferred).
• Experience driving heavy vehicles in a similar role.
• Experience operating a manual RoadRanger gearbox.
• Safety-first attitude and focus on public safety.
• Strong teamwork and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Drive heavy vehicles across Tauranga region for roading and construction projects.
• Load and transport mobile plant, operate tip trucks and trailers.
• Support roading and civil projects with safe driving and logistics.
• Maintain vehicle standards and compliance with Higgins safety policies.
