Job summary

Working In is seeking Truck Drivers to join our team in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty. This is a permanent, full-time role with a minimum of 30 hours per week and a pay rate of $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience.

Successful candidates will operate vehicles safely, load, unload, and secure goods in line with health and safety policies. Responsibilities include pre-start vehicle checks, maps and delivery instructions, and staying away from home when required.

Qualifications

• Hold a Class 5 HT licence (or ability to obtain one) and NZ Register Level 2 or equivalent.
• Forklift licence is advantageous.
• Physically fit with reliable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Maneouvre vehicles for loading/unloading while following safety rules.
• Perform regular vehicle safety checks and paperwork for deliveries.
• Ensure goods are secured and properly covered to prevent loss.
• Carry out pre-start checks on vehicles before operation.
• Read maps and delivery instructions and complete required documentation.
• Take on shifts when loads are available and stay flexible with hours.
