Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse License.
• Current American Heart Assn. BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of patient care through the nursing process in the preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative phases.
• Assesses physiological and psychosocial health status of patient; assesses pain per policy.
• Verbally reports pertinent information to appropriate staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Legibly documents information in patient records and signs using professional title.
• Demonstrates aseptic technique and manages surgical case counting.
