Job summary

Ormiston Hospital is seeking Theatre Registered Nurses to join our team across multiple fixed-term, permanent, and casual positions in Auckland. You will deliver perioperative care, work with a skilled surgical team, and contribute to a positive patient experience.

The role requires NZ Nursing Council Annual Practising Certificate, NZ work rights, and 3+ years in an Operating Theatre. Specialties include Orthopaedics, Plastics, and more. We value collaboration and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

Current NZ Nursing Council Annual Practising Certificate with appropriate theatre scope.
Valid working rights for New Zealand.
Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience in an Operating Theatre in NZ.
Experience in Orthopaedics, Plastics, Laparoscopic, ENT, Gynaecology, Urology, Robotic or General surgery.
Demonstrated clinical competence and commitment to evidence-based practice.
Ability to adapt and prioritise in a busy clinical environment.
Collaborative, patient-centred approach.

Responsibilities

Support high-quality perioperative care with multidisciplinary teams.
Contribute to a positive patient experience and uphold clinical excellence throughout the perioperative journey.
