Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a New Zealand Registered Nurse to provide patient postoperative care in a busy PACU setting. The role covers Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Urology, ORL, General Surgery and Plastics, requiring strong communication and collaborative teamwork.

The successful candidate will be adaptable, well-organised and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment, contributing to excellent patient outcomes. Applications close 23 October 2026.

Qualifications

• NZ Registered Nurse with current Annual Practising Certificate.
• Paediatric experience is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years as a Registered Nurse in an acute hospital setting.

• Provide high-quality postoperative care to surgical patients across Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Urology, ORL, General Surgery and Plastics.
