Job summary

Silver Fern Farms are seeking a passionate People Coordinator at their Pacific site in Hastings. You’ll be the first point of contact for day-to-day queries, supporting seasonal recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning and learning activities, while ensuring that our systems and processes run seamlessly.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you’ll provide essential coordination and administration support across the full spectrum of People activities, delivering smooth experiences for all team

Qualifications

• Significant experience in administration or coordination roles.
• Experience in unionised, shift-based and/or multi-site manufacturing environments.
• Highly developed administration skills with high accuracy.
• Understanding of NZ employment law, collective agreements and industrial relations practices.
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Practical, customer-focused and responsive.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day people processes, onboarding and seasonal recruitment activities.
• Support workforce planning and learning initiatives across the site.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy in applying people policies and processes.
• Partner with site leaders and regional People team to deliver efficient services.
