Job summary

BDO Auckland is seeking a proactive People & Capability Coordinator to support a broad range of people and capability activities, partnering with Partners, employees and the wider P&C team to keep people processes moving smoothly.

You will coordinate onboarding, changes, development programmes, and engagement initiatives while helping manage professional qualifications support and workforce reporting in a fast-paced professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Starting out in HR/P&C with strong relationship-building skills.
• Collaborative, proactive, comfortable with MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates key employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, employee changes, development programmes, remuneration reviews, and offboarding.
• Coordinates and continuously enhances graduate and intern programmes, including recruitment support, onboarding, development initiatives, and engagement activities.
• Provides coordination support for the professional qualifications supported study process (CAANZ, CPA, CFA) as required.
• Reporting – produces and manages regular workforce reporting as required.
• Operational Advisory – Provides first-level guidance on people policies and processes, partnering with the P&C team to support the effective resolution of employee matters and people-related initiatives.
• Managing and enhancing our internal people pages, keeping content up to date, engaging, and aligned with current people processes, policies, and initiatives.
