Job summary

Kirimana is looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our Auckland team. Take ownership of an established portfolio while expanding your client and candidate network across construction, trades and engineering in New Zealand.

You will recruit across temporary, contract and permanent roles, build deep market knowledge and deliver proactive, results-driven recruitment services while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ recruitment experience preferred (or strong sales/recruitment background).
• Solid understanding of sales processes and a consultative approach.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue and gross profit targets.
• Source candidates using job boards, social media, networking and referrals; maintain a strong pipeline.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment: job briefs, shortlisting, interviewing, offers and onboarding support.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships; act as primary point of contact for key accounts.

Previous recruitment experience is preferred, particularly within construction, trades, engineering or another temporary labour environment. However, we are also interested in proven sales professionals with strong relationship building skills and the commercial drive to succeed in recruitment.
