Job summary

ASB Bank is establishing a Pega Centre of Excellence (CoE) and seeks a Senior Test Lead to define and embed testing strategy, standards and guardrails across the Pega ecosystem. You will partner with product owners, architects and risk stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, and customer-focused solutions.

You’ll lead test strategy, reusable assets, and metrics, guiding squads from discovery through deployment while driving automation and improvements in quality engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading testing or quality engineering in a complex enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain and promote the enterprise Pega test strategy, quality standards, templates, guardrails and assurance framework.
• Provide independent quality governance across Pega initiatives, including test approach reviews and release-readiness recommendations.
• Lead testing for complex Pega changes, covering functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing.
• Set direction for Pega test automation, including reusable frameworks and pipeline integration.
• Create and evolve a generic test automation framework for reuse by squads.
• Use AI to accelerate test design, script development and maintenance.
• Ensure non-functional assurance for performance, resilience, accessibility and security.
• Coach testers and engineers to lift quality across multiple squads.
