Job summary

New Zealand Defence Force seeks a Payroll Administrator to deliver accurate payroll services across the NZDF, process payroll transactions, allowances and deductions, and support payroll queries from staff.

Based at Trentham, after training there is the option for flexible working arrangements; salary range NZ$76,804–NZ$85,217 per year, inclusive of 4% superannuation.

Qualifications

  • Payroll experience in a customer-focused environment and accuracy in processing payroll.
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation including the Employment Relations Act and Holidays Act.
  • Detail-oriented team player with excellent communication and prioritisation skills.
  • Two years' experience using SAP HCM is desirable.

Responsibilities

## Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role**Mō te tūnga | About the role**As a Payroll Administrator, you'll be responsible for processing payroll activities, resolving payroll queries, and maintaining accurate employee records. Once you have undergone training and are up to speed, there is the option for flexible working arrangements.The salary for this role ranges from $76,804 - $85,217, inclusive of a 4% superannuation contribution.
